How accurate are the scales?
Readability depends on the model and is listed in each device's technical data. The OF-PF300 platform scale, for example, resolves in 20 g steps at 300 kg capacity; the OF-EW30 label printing scale is built for counter use up to 30 kg.
Can I calibrate the scales, and are they certified for trade?
Before first use, check the scale with a known reference weight on a level, firm surface; the tare function subtracts containers. No certification is needed for pure shipping and stock-control use. If you intend to sell goods by weight, please email us before ordering to confirm whether a model is approved for legal-for-trade use.
Why does the scale show a fluctuating weight?
Usually the surface or a draught is to blame: place the scale on a level, firm floor, use the hold function for bulky parcels, and re-tare before each batch.
Which shipping services and systems does the label printer work with?
The OF-LP thermal label printer prints 4×6 inch shipping labels from DHL, Amazon, eBay, Otto and Deutsche Post, and runs on both Windows and macOS.
Does the label printer need ink or toner?
No. It uses direct thermal printing: the label stock reacts to heat, so there are no consumables beyond the label rolls themselves.
What is a label rewinder for?
On long print runs it winds the printed labels neatly onto a roll instead of letting them spill across the bench. Our models work in both directions (rewind and unwind) and take rolls up to 100 or 120 mm wide.
Which pouch thickness and mode should I laminate with?
Standard documents are laminated hot with 80–125 micron pouches; the OF-LA3S high-speed model handles up to 250 micron. For heat-sensitive originals (e.g. thermal-paper receipts), use the cold mode with self-adhesive cold pouches.
What if a pouch jams in the laminator?
The high-speed model has a reverse function that backs the pouch out under control. As a rule: always feed the pouch sealed edge first and let the machine warm up fully.
How do I connect the cash drawer?
Via the RJ11 port to your receipt printer or POS system — the drawer opens on its pulse when a receipt closes. It can also be locked manually with the supplied keys (3 locking methods).

Can businesses order — and what about returns and warranty?
Yes, we supply both consumers and businesses. Consumers have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and 24-month warranty; for business customers the statutory warranty rules per our terms apply. In case of a defect, one email is enough — we take care of the rest.
